Every Yoreh piece is solid recycled 925 sterling silver, some finished in 18k gold or oxidized, and some set with lunar meteorite. A little care keeps each one at its best.

Keep pieces in a dry place, ideally the pouch or box they arrived in, away from other jewelry so they do not scratch each other.

Put jewelry on after perfume, lotion, sunscreen, and hairspray, and take it off before swimming pools and hot tubs. Chlorine and harsh chemicals dull silver and can damage settings.

Wipe polished silver with a soft silver polishing cloth to remove tarnish and restore shine. Tarnish is normal for sterling and is not a defect.

Oxidized (darkened) pieces are meant to be dark. Wipe with a soft dry cloth only. Do not use silver polish or dips, which strip the finish.

Wipe gold-plated pieces with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth. Never use abrasive polish or silver dip, as it wears the gold layer.

Keep lunar-meteorite settings away from prolonged water and moisture, and clean around the stone with a dry cloth rather than soaking the piece.

Silver actually tarnishes less with regular wear. When you store a piece for a long time, keep it sealed and dry.
